Join Photovoltaic Systems Summer School 2025 of Delft University of Technology
June 6, 2025This past June, the partners of the TERASUN project convened for a dynamic two-day in-person Consortium Meeting, graciously hosted by the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). The event brought together leading researchers and industry experts from across the consortium to share critical progress, align on future strategy, and strengthen the collaborative bonds driving solar innovation forward.
The meeting served as a vital platform to review the project's advancements in boosting the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of crystalline silicon () photovoltaic cells. In-depth sessions and workshops allowed partners to present key findings, tackle challenges, and fine-tune the technical roadmap for the upcoming project phases. The face-to-face interactions fostered a powerful synergy, sparking new ideas and reinforcing a unified vision for the future of solar energy.
At the heart of TERASUN is a commitment to developing next-generation solar PV technology that supports a more sustainable and competitive energy landscape. By focusing on advanced cell architectures, the project aims to deliver breakthroughs that will lower the cost of solar electricity and solidify Europe's position as a leader in renewable energy manufacturing.
The TERASUN consortium extends its sincere gratitude to the team at TU Delft for their warm welcome and the excellent organization of the meeting. The productive discussions have left the entire team energized and focused on the exciting work ahead.
The path to more efficient solar technology is being paved today. Stay tuned to the TERASUN project website as we continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in solar PV technology and move closer to a truly sustainable energy future.
